2001 51 reg Rover Mini Cooper Sport S Works in classic Red with Silver roof, bonnet stripes and mirrors. It also has the factory fit full length electric sunroof which adds a great fun factor when the sun is shinning. The S Works conversion was supplied by the Cooper Car Company and fitted by Mini Sport in 2017 who are the recognised fitting agent. The kit takes the power from 62 bhp to a claimed 90 bhp and is an exciting addition to this already appealing Cooper Sport. They also added the very expensive John Cooper signed door furniture, signed rocker cover, signed filler cap, signed door plates and even the wheel centres and badges where updated to the Works items. As well as the conversion it also had a new John Cooper 4 pot alloy brake calliper conversion with grooved discs and alloy Mini Fins fitted to the rear. They also upgraded to braided brake hoses. During this work they also fitted a high – low suspension kit  enabling you to adjust the ride height and new shock absorbers. Mini Sport went right through the car and serviced it at the same time and the total cost for all of this work was £5414.00. This mini has covered just 11990 miles from new and is in fantastic condition throughout. The last mini to come off the production line was in September 2000 making most of the last cars an X or Y registration. This mini was not registered until the second half of 2001 making it a 51 reg and one of the last ever registered classic minis. This Mini is fantastic to drive due to the extra power. As part of the S Works kit they fit a twin upswept Maniflow exhaust which sounds fantastic and with the roof back you can enjoy ever gear change. I don’t think minis come must more exiting that this with a combination of condition, mileage and specification. It has just had 4 new Yokohama A539 tyres fitted 20 miles ago.
