1999 Rover Mini Cooper Sport S Works 90 BHP by John Cooper Garages. This unique and outstanding Mini is in rare Morello Purple with a white roof, mirrors and signed bonnet stripes. The body condition is remarkable as shown in the pictures. It has only been driven in the dry and has always been garaged from new. The pictures taken of under the front wheel arches say it all! The interior is very special and smells as good as it looks. The high quality leather feels soft to touch and very comfortable, while also giving additional leg room. As soon as you sit in, the feel of newness and quality is evident and makes it a special place to be. When you turn the key the S Works engine sounds fantastic through the correct S Works Janspeed, stainless steel exhaust, which is now very rarely seen. With just 8100 miles from new the engine and gearbox feel fresh and precise. When John Cooper Garages converted the engine to 90 BHP they also fitted a short shift gear change adding to the fun of driving it. The cost of the work was over £2000 27 years ago! In addition to the S Works conversion it also has the walnut centre console, John Cooper gear knob, John Cooper wheel centres and door badges. Driving this Mini is an occasion due to the free revving S Works engine and slick gear change.
