1995 Rover Mini built to Fast Road specification. This fantastic mini was built around 5 years ago at great expense and with a high level of engineering, using the very best parts. The body was fully striped and restored so to create the perfect base for this exciting project. It was painted Tartan Red with a black roof. Every stage was carefully thought out to create an effective fast road mini. It has a Bill Richards 1293 cc engine with a rebuilt 4 speed gearbox with 3.4:1 final drive and a KAD quick shift gear change. It has an HIF 44 carburettor, Megajolt electronic ignition, 3 branch exhaust manifold and alloy radiator. The suspension is fully adjustable for camber, damping and height. It has Gas shocks, rear anti roll bar, 4 pot alloy front callipers with vented discs and rear MiniFin alloy drums. The wheels are 12 by 6 Revolution with Yokohama A539 tyres. The interior has a high quality roll cage and Cobra bucket seats with matching rear seats and door cards. New headlining and carpets. Centre clocks with additional rev counter. There is a heated front windscreen (currently not connected) and Sparco seat belts. The build from start to finish is fully documented in the history file and it has done 7720 miles since completion. The mini drives very well and is fantastic fun with every trip out being an occasion. It is an exciting mini to drive and very different from todays remote feel of modern cars. It equally will suit a driver who enjoys the exhaust and induction sound of a mini over the radio! To create this car today and have it professionally assembled would cost around £30,000.
