2001 X Rover Mini Cooper Sport in classic Solar Red and Silver. This unique and very special car has had a very different life to most Minis. It was bought new by a retired engineer who was also part of the Mini Cooper Register team. He bought it unregistered from the dealer and had it at home for the first 2 months. During this time it was fully protected with military grade wax oil, which has been injected into the entire car. A long spill was used to spray wax oil into all areas of the car. All of the items like spot lights and bumpers were removed and refitted using carefully made gaskets so that the metal was not directly on the paint. Since then the mini has only ever been taxed for 6 months for the summer. It has never been used in the rain and has had ‘one owner’ from new!
