1975 Austin Mini 1275 GT with Special Tuning Conversion. This outstanding mini 1275 GT has to be one of the very best examples remaining. It has had 5 enthusiast owners from new and is well know by the Mini Cooper Register as one of the registrars used to own the car. It was converted by its first owner in 1977 to Special Tuning Specification and the kit was supplied by Patrick Motors and I have the invoice. This improved the performance with twin carburettors, performance cylinder head and exhaust manifold etc. I also have the original bill of sale from Sam Robbins LTD of Nuneaton. In 2017 it was professionally restored with well respected Southam Engineering rebuilding the engine to also include a lightened flywheel. The engine revs very freely and runs beautifully, being responsive and also usable. The brakes are very effective due to the larger 8.4 inch discs on this model and a servo. The body work is in fantastic condition as you can see in the pictures. All of the running gear has been rebuilt and presents well and operates as it should. It has recently been converted to electronic ignition. The interior has been replaced with new Newton Commercial reclining seats, door cards and carpets. The seats where made with a basket weave centre for the 1275 GT. The cost of the newly fitted interior is £3080.00. The package offers  an immaculately presented, wonderfully engineered mini 1275 GT with great provenance and history and is ready to be enjoyed. Free delivery to your door in my curtain sided van within 200 miles of Tiverton.
