1968 Austin Mini Super Deluxe in Factory Tartan Red with matching red interior. This mini has been restored to a very high level over a 5 year period with every part being carefully considered and done properly with no limit on cost or time. It is very clear when you see and drive the mini that the restorer had decades of experience and was dedicated to do the very best job. It was restored for his son but unfortunately he is unable to enjoy it for health reasons. During  the restoration it was kept as original as possible, which is always key to a cars value. The interior seats are original and the rest of the interior is made up from new Newton Commercial parts. The brakes have been upgraded to Cooper S 7.5 inch discs on the front and it also has Cooper S drilled steal wheels. I have taken a large number of pictures as ‘seeing is believing’. It drives wonderfully and is smooth and light while feeling responsive and very willing. It is similar to a 998 cc Mini Cooper on the road, but more refined. The mini shows 1 previous owner and I have the bill of sale for when they bought it for £485.00! It is a matching numbers car and has a nice thick history file. The engine is super smooth as is the gearbox and it feels very special to drive. These opportunities do not come along very often and due to the quality of the build this will give its new owner something to drive, enjoy and polish for years to come. I have hundreds of pictures showing the car pre restoration and then at every stage of the body restoration, interior and engine build. A new owner can clearly see by studying the pictures the outstanding level of time and effort that has gone into it, with no nasty corners left or any areas of the build neglected. It is important to remember that this was done to be kept, driven to shows and to win.
