1994 Rover Mini Grand Prix Number 1 of 35 ever made. This mini was the press car and first registered to John Cooper himself. Being the first and prototype Grand Prix it is unique to the other cars with grey clocks as all of the production cars had cream coloured clocks. The Mini World pictures and all press pictures of the GP launch where of this exact car and all of the original press magazines etc are included. All of the GP minis where priced at £13495 26 years ago making it very expensive and exclusive. They all had an 86 BHP tuned engine boasting a 0-60 time of 9 seconds and a top speed of 105 mph. They had a very special luxury interior with high quality leather seats which is extended to the door cards. Lovely walnut dash, door pulls and door capping’s and alloy door furniture and John Cooper doorstep covers. The Motalita / John Cooper signed steering wheel adds to the sporty look and feel. Each car had its own unique numbers glove box plaque and this one shows 1 / 35.  Due to this example only covering 11250 miles from new and kept garaged the overall condition is excellent. The wheels are 5 by 12 Minilite’s on Yokohama A539 tyres with Spax shocks. The wheel arch extensions are standard to the GP cars as are the 4 spot lights and an alloy Daytona filler cap. The Mini Grand Prix is the most exclusive of all the John Cooper Garages minis and they very rarely come to the market. This is ‘the one’ and any Mini owned by John Cooper personally is very rare and collectable. Being unique it is not an easy car to price which does make it an exciting long term investment opportunity. Free delivery to your door in my enclosed van within 200 miles of South Molton.
