2001 Rover Mini Cooper Sport 500 in rare Anthracite metallic. This is one of the last 500 minis ever made and is number 62. The Cooper Sport 500’s were all supplied with a signed certificate and a gift bag but these are now often missing. This example has the gift pack and the certificate plus an additional sport 500 club certificate, giving its number. It was refurbished around 4 years ago and completed to a very high standard. All of the key areas which can rust have been replaced with new Heritage panels to include the front end including the scuttle panel, door steps, sills, door skins, rear valance and A panels. Since this work was completed it has lived a dry garaged life so looks stunning today. To carry out this work is very costly but once done you are turning back the clock on the body age and the key areas where they rust should be good for years to come. While this work was being the done the engine was fully checked and serviced and the gearbox rebuilt. It has covered around 4000 – 5000 miles since this work and feels great on the road. It has 4 matching Yokohama tyres and is also on adjusta-ride suspension enabling you to adjust the ride height. I have a complete history file including all of the history from new and a photographic history of the restoration. The number plate is Y906 AOK and the first ever mini made was 621 AOK. This is a very collectable mini and should give its new owner complete peace of mind due to the recent work completed to a high standard.
