1990 Rover Mini Cooper RSP in red with a white roof, bonnet stripes and mirrors. The RSP was build in the Rover Special Products department at Rover and was created by John Cooper so to reintroduce the Mini Cooper to the mini range which had been absent since 1973. They produced 1050 cars and the success of this car was going to decide if mini production would continue. This is a very important model as if it had failed the production of the mini for the next 10 years and even the existence of the BMW Mini may never have happened.

This World Class example has covered just 970 miles from new and is in factory original condition.  To my eye it has never had any paintwork in the last 31 years and is immaculate. The underside has its original yellow wax which looks ‘time warp’ fresh! This has to be one of the very best remaining examples. The RSP has a great following and its own Owners Club which has its own website which is worth looking at so to learn more about this important Mini Cooper.

I have just removed the factory tyres and fitted 4 new 165 Yokohama tyres which give the best ride and performance. I have the history file from new including the original bill of sale, book pack, sales brochure and both sets of keys. This would make an enjoyable mini to drive and enjoy while also an exciting investment opportunity. Free delivery to your door in my curtain sided van within 200 miles of Tiverton.
