1990 Mini Cooper the last of the carburettor Coopers in classic Almond green with an Old English White roof. This is a very special and well engineered mini Cooper. It has been fully restored which started with dipping the shell so to expose any corrosion issues and then any corroded panels where replaced with Heritage replacements. The shell was then seam welded for additional strength and rigidity. It was then built up and uprated where ever possible to create a high quality fast road mini. The suspension is all adjustable including height front and rear. It has adjustable rear camber brackets, heavy duty adjustable track control arms which has been set up by Neil Slark. Competition drive shafts, new 7.5 inch front disc brakes with braided hoses. Mini Spares free flow exhaust manifold and RC40 exhaust system. Original Cooper engine fully rebuilt and re-bored to 1293 CC, fully balanced, light weight fly wheel, fast road Brett Simms 12g940 cylinder head, Swiftune SW5 camshaft, roller tip rocker assembly, twin 1.5 inch SU carburettors. Standard gearbox with the addition of a cross pin diff. Rolling road set up by Peter Baldwin and producing around 90 BHP. The interior is stunning and made up of Newton Commercial Suffolk GT reclining seats with matching rear seat costing £1827.00. There is a John Cooper / Mota Lita leather steering wheel and a high quality DAB, CD head unit with 4 speakers which sounds great. There is a heated front windscreen which is always handy in a mini. It has covered around 8200 miles since the rebuild in 2015 and is now showing a total of 76800 miles from new. The wheels and tyres are brand new and look great.
