1979 Austin Mini Pick Up in classic Pageant blue. This is a fully restored Mini Pick Up. It came off the road in 2003 and over the last 3 years has been restored by a retired classic car enthusiast. The entire body has received new panels where required. The front panel, front wings, sills, floors, rear load area and tailgate are all new. The subframes have been refurbished as have all of the brakes and steering parts. The engine and gearbox have been refurbished and it all presents very well. I have taken pictures of the underside to show the finished standard. The load area also has a carpet to protect the new painted floor. It is nice to see the original seats and steering wheel. When the Pick Up was finished it had the correct black bumpers front and rear and black wheel arch trim. I do still have these which can be included but I like the chrome parts which I feel give a more classic look. It drives very well and has a quiet engine and gearbox. I have just fitted a water temperature and oil pressure gauge for peace of mind. The doors fit very well and are in-line with the rear panel. They open and close easily which is very rare to see. The door handling return to their correct position once operated and lots of the normal poor fitted panels etc are no where to be seen. This has been put together with great care and offers a rarely seen, highly collectable mini Pick Up to enjoy. I have some early paperwork and the original service book etc which is nice.
