1970 Austin Mini Clubman 998 cc in rare Blue Royale. It has a matching blue interior which is all in ‘time warp’ condition, even with its original 53 year old carpets. This outstanding mini was bought new in 1970 and kept by the first owner for 36 years. He then sold it to its last owner in 2006 and it has been owned up until now, making it a 2 owner 53 year old mini. During this time it has always been garaged and used on sunny days covering just 11750 miles from new. As a result the bodywork looks to be original and it has recently had a repaint in its factory colour. I have pictures of it before the repaint as it was then totally original and still in great condition. The floors still have their body tags and the original 4 vent sills are still immaculate. The hydro elastic suspension is still present giving a nice compliment ride. The engine to my knowledge is totally original and is super quiet and smooth. This is a MK 3 Mini but due to being close the the MK 2 mini it still has some cross over features. The toggle switches and central key is classic of a MK 2 and also the T shaped boot handle.
